I haven't written for almost a week now, which is entirely my fault, but not really, or is it, as I have been off doing other things- more mundane things, ordinary things that take up a lot of one's time, and the truth of the matter is that recently I have not been taking many photographs of things. Often it is the case that what I do want to photograph, such as artwork, crafts, etc, are not allowed to be photographed, which is a shame in terms of keeping a digital memory but all so much better in that the mind and eye is forced to remember them (that is, if they are worth remembering).
So, with nothing really to write on, I backtracked through my images (and forgive me if you have seen this before, memory not being what it was), here is a road sign where the animated fellow bows and politely asks you to walk to the side. The system of manners that is in place here, or was in place (as the younger generations seem to have begun the process of dismantling even that noble tradition) is quite a thing, a bit overblown at times, but for the most part a healthy way of life long forgotten in many other increasingly savage places.
